This 2003 Lotus Esprit is one of 79 Final Edition examples produced over the course of the 2003 and 2004 model years. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Mustard Yellow over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, body-color and tinted-glass removable roof panels, a rear wing, staggered-diameter wheels, AP Racing front brake calipers, and an Alpine audio system. The car was first delivered to Prestige Imports of North Miami Beach, Florida, and was acquired by the current owner in May 2015. Service since December 2021 has included repairing the engine wiring harness, changing fluids, and replacing the oil pressure switch, crankshaft sensor, idle air control valve, spark plugs, and fuel pumps. This Esprit Final Edition now has 15k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name. 

The final iteration of the Esprit was introduced in 2002 and featured a redesigned tail panel with round taillights. This example is finished in Mustard Yellow and features a body-color removable roof panel and a tinted-glass roof panel. Additional equipment includes a rear wing, pop-up headlights, central dual-exhaust outlets, and a front spoiler that was repaired in December 2021.Staggered-width 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with mixed Sumitomo tires. Stopping power is provided by ventilated cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, with Lotus-branded AP Racing calipers in the front. The brake fluid was changed in December 2021.

The seats are upholstered in black leather with checkerboard stitching and yellow piping. Black leather covers the dashboard, center console, and door panels and is complemented by yellow inserts around the shifter and on the door panels. Additional appointments include air conditioning, a tire pressure monitoring system, power windows and locks, Lotus-branded floor mats, and an Alpine stereo. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles, approximately 1,400 of which have been added during current ownership. 

The mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.5L V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Service completed since December 2021 has included repairing the engine wiring harness as well as replacing the oil pressure switch, crankshaft sensor, idle air control valve, battery, spark plugs, gaskets for the intake manifold and EGR flange, and fuel pumps and filters, and changing the oil.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The shift shaft seal was replaced in July 2022.
